Gambian-Swedish professional boxer Badou Jack was born on October 31, 1983, to a Gambian father and a Swedish mother.

Mr. Jack as the former world champion’s father is popularly known, is a Gambian. He is a devout Moslem, a faith he instilled in his son who practices it to this day.
