Kate Middleton returned to the public eye today to attend Wimbledon with Prince William after self-isolating for COVID-19 exposure.
Wearing a green cap-sleeve Emilia Wickstead dress and white pumps (and a face mask upon entry), the Duchess of Cambridge smiled and cheered in the stands for the women's final match. Beside her sat the Duke of Cambridge, who wore a blue suit and sunglasses for the occasion.

Kensington Palace announced on Monday that Duchess Kate was in isolation after coming into contact with someone last week who later tested positive for coronavirus. "Her Royal Highness is not experiencing any symptoms, but is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home," a spokesperson said at the time. According to U.K. guidelines, people should isolate for 10 days after COVID-19 exposure. (Kate had also received her first vaccine dose in May.)
As both a tennis fan and the royal patron of the All Tennis Lawn and Racquet Club, the Duchess of Cambridge has been a fixture at Wimbledon through the years. She even attended a few matches with Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, after she married into the royal family.
Although the famed tournament went on hiatus in 2020 for the pandemic, Kate returned to the court last week for the early days of the 2021 competition. Attending without Prince William at the time, she wore a polka-dot skirt by Alessandra Rich with a white top and navy blazer as she watched a doubles match and later explored the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum.
